We misplaced David Crosby lately, and in a fitting radio tribute, I heard his legendary tenor in ‘’Woodstock’’ even though I was driving. Listening to Joni Mitchell’s lyrics, the superb refrain — “We are stardust, we are golden / We are billion-year-outdated carbon / And we’ve bought to get ourselves / Back again to the garden” — struck me as most likely much more pertinent nowadays than it was in the 1960s.
